Dear little monsters!

HALLOWEEN IS HERE! and we are getting ready for the super scary parade that we will have at school next Friday.

5 years olds, first and second graders are choosing their costumes  and learning Halloween riddles and songs to celebrate this festival.

Queridos pequeños monstruos!

Ha llegado HALLOWEEN y nos estamos preparando para la cabalgata que celebraremos en nuestro colegio el próximo viernes.

Los alumnos de 5 años, los de primero y segundo de primaria, ya están eligiendo sus disfraces y aprendiendo adivinanzas y canciones de Halloween para celebrar esta fiesta.

That´s How a Pumpkin Grows

Hi there!

 October is the month of the harvest .  Families in the USA visit the Pumpkin Patches at this time of the year. A Pumpkin Patch is a place where you can find lots of pumpkins!. 

You can cook the pumpkin in a delicious pumpkin pie, or you can decorate it  and make a scary 

Jack O´Lantern.

Octubre es el mes de la cosecha. Las familias en Estados Unidos visitan los huertos de calabazas en esta época del año. Un huerto de calabazas es un lugar donde puedes encontrar  montones de calabazas!. Puedes cocinar un delicioso pastel con la calabaza , o decorarla y hacer una Jack O´Lantern para morirse de miedo.

Welcome Back to School !

Hey kiddos!

 I hope you and your families  have had a fantastic vacation time. I am excited about the new school year and all the fun we can have in the classroom while learning English!

First and second graders have already signed the classroom behavior contract , and they are ready to show their best behavior, and enjoy the  Trophy they can take home during the weekend if they  follow the contract lines.
Let´s review them :

Espero hayais pasado unas fantásticas vacaciones con vuestras familias. Estoy muy emocionada con la llegada del nuevo curso y con muchas ganas de que os divirtais en la clase mientras aprendéis inglés.

Los alumnos de primero y segundo ya han firmado el contrato de comportamiento en la clase, y ya están listos para mostrar como lo siguen , y disfrutar del trofeo que se llevarán a casa durante el fin de  semana aquellos que mejor lo cumplan.
